1991 Statistics
This was the first attempt to produce EU statistics on the the use of laboratory animals and there were a number of problems with the data submitted. The French data related to 1990 and the Portuguese data to 1992, rather than 1991. The Italian data were estimates. Belgium and Luxembourg were unable to submit data. Those countries that submitted data for 1991 used a variety of different statistical fomats.
