1996 Stastistics
The 1996 statistics were an improvement on the first set, collected for 1991, in that all Member States submitted data. However, one country submitted data for 1997, rather than 1996 and the Member States still used a variety of statistical formats to report their data. The European Commission report on these Statistics was published in 1999.
